She works with managers, employees and boards of directors on improving management practices and customer relations, building teams and sharpening communications
She has worked with over 100 federal agencies such as the CIA, Departments of Justice and Interior; and with such state agencies as the New Jersey Department of Human Resources, Maine Department of Administration and Finance, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She also has worked with county governments and many cities.
Kathy is a regular presenter at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's Western and Eastern Management Development Centers and continually creates new national seminars for them.
Professional Speaking
As a professional speaker, she has addressed hundreds of audiences throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Far East. She was selected to represent the United States in Morocco, Africa to speak to the 13th World Congress, comprised of specialists from 78 countries. She was selected to speak to business leaders in Japan and Korea on energy development as part of a U.S. trade mission and she has been a speaker for the American Public Power Association and the National Energy Foundation for many years.
The "CSP" designation stands for Certified Speaking Professional. It is the speaking industry's international measure of professional platform skill. CSP is conferred by the National Speakers Association only to those accomplished speakers (about 8% of its international membership) who have earned it by meeting strict criteria.
She presents at conventions, conferences, and provides in-house training. She is Past President of the Utah Chapter of the National Speakers Association. Kathy has published nationally and internationally on the topics about which she speaks.
